Boone County arrest records begin with the agency that made the arrest. Boone County Sheriff's deputies cover unincorporated areas and serve Union and present-day Walton police needs. Florence maintains its own police department. Kentucky State Police can create reports from state enforcement, while CVG Airport Police controls records from its airport jurisdiction. The name printed on the report is therefore more useful than assuming every arrest record belongs to the sheriff.

The summary list did not verify a booking number, charge, bond, agency, birth date, physical description, or booking photograph. Those fields should not be promised based on the button alone. A written agency or jail request remains the safer route when the visible list lacks the needed item.

Active-investigation material, juvenile and victim information, medical details, and protected identifiers can be withheld or redacted under Kentucky law. A blank or missing online field does not prove the underlying file lacks the information.

After law enforcement transports a person to Boone County Jail, staff confirm identity and enter the supplied charge. Fingerprint-supported arrest information can move to Kentucky State Police, while prosecutors decide what charge to file. Boone District Court handles misdemeanors and early felony steps. An indicted felony proceeds in Boone Circuit Court. Reporting delays or mismatched identifiers can leave a temporary gap between the arrest cycle and the disposition.
